The recall involves certain 2018 and 2019 models, and Tesla will tighten or replace the lateral link fasteners to address the issue. This recall is an expansion of a 2021 recall that affected nearly 2,800 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles. While there have been 25 warranty claims and two field reports related to the issue, there have been no reported crashes or injuries.
